The Chinese Communist Party of China requires its people to be totally subservient to the CCP, the polar opposite of a Democratic Republic where individuality is protected over the collective. Communism requires humans to always put the collective before individual freedom. Consequently any one or any group that dares to behave or think in any way that might encourage individual thinking (challenging the CCP’s position) is a target for punishment by the CCP. Remember from Lesson 3 in this series, this is called sinicizing, the act of making something or someone Chinese in character or to bring under Chinese influence with the goal of creating in China a “united front” (hence the term “United Front Work”).
Below is a list of 12 groups which fall into the CCP’s target United Front categories. Misbehavior by any members of these 12 groups, whether in or outside of China, may result in punitive measures including but not limited to detainment, forced labor, physical violence, and death.
Groups Who Are Targets of United Front Work
1. Members of China’s eight minor parties;
2. Individuals without party affiliations;
3. Non‐CCP intellectuals;
4. Ethnic minorities;
5. Religious individuals;
6. Individuals of non-public ownership economy (private businesses);
7. Individuals of new social strata (urban professionals);
8. PRC nationals living overseas and individuals returned with overseas education;
9. People of Hong Kong and Macau;
10. People of Taiwan and their relatives in the PRC;
11. Overseas ethnic Chinese (who are not PRC nationals) and their relatives in the PRC; and
12. Any other individuals who need to be united and liaised.
China Kills Prisoners and Harvests Their Organs
One of the most egregious examples of China’s sinicizing is the harvesting of the organs of the Falun Gong followers (number 5 in the list above). The Falun Gong is a spiritual movement that emphasizes clean living; no smoking, drinking, etc. Because the Falun Gong refuse to give up their spiritual beliefs and practices, the CCP sees them as a threat to their power. Furthermore, since they live a healthy life style (likely to have healthy organs), they are the dissent group of choice for China’s gruesome and lucrative organ harvesting program, which can net more than $100,000 per liver. By targeting the Falun Gong in this way, China is making it clear to anyone in this group, either become a good, submissive CCP member or risk being a target of the CCP organ harvesting program.

Who Is To Blame?
After watching that rather disturbing video, it is clear that blame for the organ harvesting operations in China largely lays on the CCP. However, for China to be able to sell an organ, there must be a buyer! And, the buyer must have the money to pay for the organ and medical expenses.

After being exposed in this lesson to China’s brutality, let’s end on a more positive note. Watch this 1½ -minute video to see that at least some of our politicians are doing something to interfere with China’s involuntary harvesting of its citizen’s organs.
