Lesson 6 of 10-lesson Course: China’s Takeover of America’s Farmland and the Global Food Supply

In Lesson 5 we learned China not only produces the precursor drugs responsible for killing over 200 Americans a day.  The fact that China subsidizes these precursor drugs shows China’s malignant intent to harm Americans.  This is another example of China’s United Front Work designed to create chaos in our society, justice system, health care system, families and economy.  This week we will learn how China is using our free market and America’s farmland to control and jeopardize America’s food supply.

Few of our rights in America are more important than our right to private property.  It goes beyond the joy of saying, “I own that!”  For only if you own property can you use it for collateral to purchase other things, which in turn allows you to grow your wealth and create independence.

For a country to be independent, it, too, must keep control of its property; whether that is control over its vital industry, its resources, or its farmland and food supply.  Today in America there is an ever increasing amount of land being purchased by foreign governments.  The questions this should trigger are, how much ground should the United States allow to be in the hands of foreign governments, and should we allow any ground to be owned by foreign governments who clearly wish to do harm to America; countries like Russia, North Korea, Iran, and especially China?

The first of those two questions could take a fair amount of debate.  The answer to the second question should be a resounding, “No!”  In reality China does not own much land in America – yet.  Therefore, if we do not let them buy any more, we should be okay, right?  Wrong!

When you watch this video you will see just how serious it is to have China embedded in our farmland and associated agricultural industries where they have way too many opportunities to do United Front Work.

Note:  The first 3 minutes 45 seconds may be skipped, as it deals mostly with Governor Noem's introductory comments, sharing her personal background with the committee.  The last 6 minutes are powerful.

Not-So-Fun Food Facts about China

Remember the goal of China is to gain control over the United States food supply.  Below are some not-so-fun food facts that will demonstrate China’s involvement in our food supply chain.

  • Not-So-Fun Food Fact #1

Are you aware that in 2013 Shuanghui International, a Chinese company, purchased Smithfield Foods for $4.7 billion, making it the largest acquisition of an American company by China at the time.  Smithfield is the world's largest pork producer, and owns brands like Eckrich Sausage and Armour hotdogs.  Shuanghui Group, now known as the WH Group, is a publicly-traded Chinese multinational meat and food processing company headquartered in Hong Kong.

Hopefully this will give you food for thought the next time you go grocery shopping.

  • Not-So-Fun Food Fact #2

Did you know China controls the vast majority of vitamins and amino acids which are used in America; not just in our pharmaceuticals and in the foods we eat, but also in the feed our animals eat?  While the top tier companies in China are likely manufacturing safe products, some of China’s “second- and third-tier producers, are just sloppy bucket shops," said Peter Kovacs, a food industry consultant based in Incline Village, Nevada.

Think about that the next time you swallow your daily vitamin or prescription drug.

  • Not-So-Fun Food Fact #3

Have you heard of Syngenta?  Syngenta is an agtech corporation and is part of the Syngenta Group, entirely owned by ChemChina, a Chinese state-owned enterprise.  Syngenta’s stated goal is to help millions of farmers around the world to grow safe and nutritious food.  They focus heavily on making improvements in pesticides, insecticides and herbicides and altering seed genetics.

What could possibly go wrong allowing Communist China, our geopolitical adversary, to own large amount of land in America, on which they have lots of dangerous chemicals and the ability to genetically alter seeds?  The state of Arkansas thinks a lot can go wrong, as they recently ordered Syngenta to sell land it holds in the state.
